In my art I use all the methods that I know and try some new ones to get out something what needs to be seen. Sometimes even the most planned and sketched works found new ways to come out what enigmatizes and enriches the process. I’ve been more interested in figurative art than from abstract, but the tide might be chancing, as some figures seem to decay. Usually there is some kind of roughness in my artworks shapes and colors may differ from what you see in real life which is my way of trying to elicit the things that are lurking out of sight.
Teoksissani käytän näitä ja aiemmin oppimiani keinoja saadakseni esille sen, mitä taideteoksesta haluaa näyttäytyä. Välillä tarkkaankin ajatellut ja luonnostellut työt löytävät tekemisen myötä uusia tapoja ilmentyä, mikä tekee tekemisestä mielekästä, yllätyksellistä ja opettavaista.
Tällä hetkellä minua kiinnostavat enemmän esittävät aiheet kuin abstrakti-ilmaisu, mutta uskon, että sillekin on vielä aikansa. Teoksissani on yleensä jonkinlaista rosoa ja karkeutta, värit ja hahmojen muodot saattavat poiketa luonnossa nähtävistä, sillä yritän tällä tavalla tuoda esiin jotain mikä ei normaalisti näy ulospäin. Haluan kouraista pintaa syvemmältä ja tarttua johonkin.
